Ask Good Questions and Ride the AI Wave
Dear Reader,
This week I am writing about two topics:
Learn to ride the AI wave
Book of the Week: A more beautiful question
I hope you enjoy it! I look forward to reading your comments below.
🤖🌊 In the Spotlight: Learn to ride the AI wave
The more I learn about AI, the more questions I have about the future of work. I have seen a few people getting ‘fatigued’ with the topic of AI on LinkedIn, but I am afraid it is such an important matter for all of us, that I insist to share what I have learned about AI and the future of work with you here (again).
Getting a glimpse into the world of an ex-Google [X] Chief Business Officer, Mo Gawdat, really helped me to get a much better grasp on what is lying ahead for us as knowledge workers…
He talks about AI, the rapid emergence of artificial intelligence (and the level of that intelligence!) and what this can potentially mean for our society (relatively soon).
He discusses his views of the dangers as well as a potential positive future of AI. He also shares insights in how society will be impacted and the impact on corporate jobs.
Instead of trying to relay what he said, I urge you to watch the full interview shared here:
The book I will read next on this topic is: Scary Smart by Mo Gawdat – perhaps you could read it too and we can discuss this in the coming weeks.

📖 Book of the Week: A More Beautiful Question
The Why, What If and How of Innovative Questioning, by Warren Berger.
As part of my ongoing quest to find fulfilment in my business and my life, I started listening to this book that promises to help me learn how to ask better questions.
I thought this was a very timely book to remind me (and you) that the better the questions we ask ourselves and our peers, the higher quality answers we will get.
My question to you:
“What could be different in your life if you learn to ask yourself better questions?”
Spend a few minutes to contemplate the possible answers to that question to get a glimpse into what learning to ask better questions could do for your life!

🔔 Closing Thoughts
You might see that this week is all about exploring the new and mostly unknown future of what AI will mean to each of us in the not-too-distant future as well as learning during this process to ask better questions of myself and of others.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on these topics!
All the best,
