Hello BAE Community Members,
AI is powerful, but it's not neutral.
Without careful guidance, it can unwittingly perpetuate biases, reveal sensitive data, or create compliance nightmares. As BAs, we sit at the intersection of business, technology, and ethics – making us vital guardians of AI's responsible use.
The thought-provoking part?
Are you proactively prompting your LLMs to detect bias? For instance, "Review this user story for gender, cultural, or age bias; suggest neutral alternatives." Can you prompt an AI to highlight PII or sensitive fields that might violate GDPR or other privacy regulations?
Documenting your prompt-output pairs isn't just good practice; it's building an essential audit trail for accountability.
Ask yourself:
What's the biggest ethical blind spot your team might have when using AI for BA tasks?
All the best,
Esta
